Penn Stainless Appoints Rudy as New “Official” Mascot

Rudy, a rescue dog with a second-chance story and first-class executive presence, earned the position after an extensive interview process that included sitting politely, wearing proper PPE, and looking directly into the camera with undeniable confidence. The selection committee quickly reached a unanimous decision.

Rudy brings several key qualifications to the role, including strong enthusiasm, excellent morale-building skills, a proven ability to brighten the workday, and a deep commitment to workplace safety — as demonstrated by his properly fitted yellow hard hat.

In addition to his new responsibilities at Penn Stainless, Rudy is also a certified therapy dog who enjoys spending his spare time visiting the local senior center, where he continues his important work of delivering smiles, comfort, and the occasional tail wag.

While still early in the position, Rudy has already shown a firm understanding of Penn Stainless values: loyalty, reliability, resilience, attention to detail, service to others, and never missing an opportunity to inspect the lunchroom.

“This was an easy decision,” said absolutely everyone who saw the photo. “Any candidate who can represent stainless steel, safety, pure charm, and community spirit in one image deserves the job.”

In his new role, Rudy will focus on employee engagement, customer smiles, and reminding everyone that safety gear is important — even when you have four paws.

Treats may be sent directly to the office. Scraps of stainless steel will not be accepted as snacks.
