321 Stainless Steel Pipe and Tube

321 Stainless Steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel that contains titanium. This is best for use in welded parts that cannot be annealed. Grade 321 is similar to type 304, save for its addition of titanium. Titanium reduces or prevents carbide precipitation during welding and in 800 – 1500°F (427 – 816°C) service, as well as  improves the elevated temperature properties of the alloy. Type 321 provides excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion and possesses good creep strength.
