347 Stainless Steel Pipe and Tube

347 Stainless Steel is a stabilized austenitic stainless steel similar to type 304, but it also contains columbium and tantalum. The columbium makes the stainless steel more stable, and immune to chromium carbide precipitation. Therefore, this grade is best used in parts fabricated by welding which cannot be annealed, or for parts that will operate between 800 – 1600°F.

Specifications: UNS S34700
