410S Stainless Steel Pipe & Tube

Alloy 410S is the low carbon version of Alloy 410. The lower carbon content prevents hardening and cracking when exposed to high temperatures or welding.

General Properties

410S is the low carbon, non-hardening version of 410. It remains soft and ductile even when rapidly cooled. This helps prevent cracking during welding or from exposure to high temperatures. 410S is completely ferritic in the annealed condition. It exhibits adequate corrosion resistance similar to 410 and good oxidation resistance.
