Nickel Alloy Pipe Specification – ASTM B757

Overview:

B757 covers annealed UNS N06110 alloy welded pipes for general corrosion services. Pipe should be made from the flat-rolled alloy by an automatic welding process without any filler metal additions. Either only the weld metal or both weld and base metals should be cold worked after welding and prior to final annealing. The oxide should be removed from the pipe.

This specification covers pipe sizes in schedules shown in Table 1.

A Schedules 5S and 10S wall thicknesses do not permit threading in accordance with the American National Standard for Pipe Threads (ANSI B2.1).
