Stainless Steel Rolled Flat Bar
Penn Stainless Products offers a comprehensive selection of stainless steel flat bars, catering to diverse industrial needs. Our inventory offers hot rolled and cold rolled flat bars, available in different grades for the best performance in various uses.
The 304/304L stainless steel rolled flat bar is known for its great resistance to corrosion and easy shaping. It is commonly used in structures, frames, and supports. Its versatility makes it suitable for various industries, including construction and manufacturing.
316/316L stainless steel rolled flat bar contains added molybdenum and offers enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and other industrial solvents. This grade is ideal for marine environments, chemical processing equipment, and pharmaceutical industries where superior corrosion resistance is paramount.
The 303 stainless steel rolled flat bar is made for better machinability. It also keeps good mechanical and corrosion-resistant properties. It is commonly used in applications requiring extensive machining are fittings and fasteners.
Hot Rolled and Cold Rolled Flat Bars
Penn Stainless Products’ hot rolled flat bars are available in grades 304/304L and 316/316L. These bars are processed at high temperatures, resulting in a rougher surface finish and slightly rounded edges. They are ideal for applications where precise dimensions and a smooth finish are not critical.
We provide cold rolled flat bars in grade 303. These bars undergo processing at or near room temperature, yielding a smooth surface finish and tighter dimensional tolerances. Cold rolling improves the mechanical properties. This makes the bars good for uses that need high precision and a great surface finish.
Available Sizes
All our stainless rolled flat bars are stocked in standard 12-foot random length sections. We also offer processing services, including cutting and polishing, to meet specific requirements. For detailed size availability, please refer to our product specifications.
